The imposing Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla constitutes the main defensive bastion of the entrance to the old town of Carmona. Built upon Almohad and Roman foundations, this military fortification offers a direct journey through the historical periods that have shaped Carmona.
Visitors can ascend the Torre del Homenaje and tour the artillery blockhouse to contemplate wide panoramic views of the region. Inside the grounds, you will also find the Visitor Reception Center of the Municipal Tourism Office.
