Processional Parade in honor of San Mateo

The city's patron saint festivities reach their climax with the solemn processional parade of the Holy Evangelist. This event marks the epicenter of the San Mateo Patron Saint Festivities, one of the traditional events of greatest devotion and popular fervor in the Sevillian town.

The statue will process through the historic center accompanied by representatives of the municipal corporation, local groups, and marching bands. The procession will begin its route at 20:00h on September 21st, 2026, leaving from the Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepción to travel through the northern and central areas of the city.

The itinerary is free access for the general public along the route. It is suggested to arrive in advance at the main streets of the route or at the brotherhood's return to follow the procession comfortably.
