Festival Flamenco Joaquín el de la Paula

The prestigious 46th Joaquín el de la Paula Flamenco Festival returns this year to its most iconic stage to pay tribute to one of the greatest figures of 'cante por soleá'. It is an unmissable event on the city's cultural calendar that highlights the deep flamenco roots of Alcalá and brings together the most demanding aficionados from all over the region year after year in an incomparable historical setting.

In this edition, the lineup is headlined by the renowned Alcalá-born bailaor Javier Barón, accompanied in song by top-tier figures such as David Palomar, Lela Soto, and Ezequiel Benítez, as well as the guitar work of masters like Rubén Martínez, Paco León, and Rubén Lara. The evening promises pure 'arte jondo' under the night sky of the walled enclosure.
