Visit to the Museum of the Woman in Flamenco

Located in the stately Casa del Aire in Arahal, the Centro de Interpretación de la Mujer en el Flamenco is a pioneering exhibition space in Spain dedicated to extolling the indispensable role of female creators, singers, dancers, and guitarists in the history of 'jondo' art. Arahal's connection with the figure of Pastora Pavón, "La Niña de los Peines," makes this museum a point of reference for flamenco lovers.

The museum is distributed in several thematic rooms equipped with audiovisuals, period costumes, historical documents, and interactive panels that analyze everything from the golden age of flamenco cafes to the present day. General admission is free, being managed from the Arahal Tourism Office located in the same building.

To arrive from Utrera, take the A-8125 road towards Arahal, a journey that takes just 20 minutes. It is recommended to take advantage of the visit to walk through the town's historic center and try its famous 'aceitunas prietas' (black olives) in the bars of the center.
