Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de las Angustias
Utrera will experience a historic day with the Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de las Angustias, one of the most crowded devotional and festive events of the year. Organized by the Hermandad de Jesús Nazareno, the celebration will start in the Plaza del Altozano and will bring together thousands of residents and visitors from the region. Attendance is free access to witness the main events on public roads.
The festive program will begin with the transfer of the image at 4:30 p.m. to the altar in the central square, where at 7:00 p.m. the Archbishop of Seville will preside over the Solemn Stational Mass. After the ceremony, at 10:00 p.m., the triumphal return procession will begin, which will travel through the streets of the historic center decked out for the occasion.
