'You will fall asleep and dream of the song of the flowers' exhibition at the Fábrica de Artillería
The exhibition space of the Real Fábrica de Artillería de Sevilla presents the temporary exhibition Te dormirás y soñarás con la canción de las flores, by the Madrid-based artist Raquel Algaba. Installed in this monumental industrial complex recovered for Sevillian culture, the exhibition proposes a suggestive immersion into contemporary mythology and psychology.
Revisiting the classic myth of the lotus-eaters, Algaba displays a series of sculptural installations, ceramics, and three-dimensional pieces that reflect on hedonism, the evasion of reality, and the fragility of thought in today's world. The dialogue between the powerful factory structures and the artist's delicate forms creates an enveloping and unsettling atmosphere.
The visit is free of charge, and the location in the San Bernardo neighborhood is easily accessible by tram or metro (San Bernardo station).
