Exhibition 'The Wandering Body. Spanish Exile, 1939-1975'

The Casa de la Provincia de la Diputación de Sevilla hosts the historical and traveling exhibition El cuerpo errante. Exilio español, 1939-1975. Located in the heart of the city's monumental center, next to the Cathedral, this exhibition investigates the human, social, and cultural drama experienced by thousands of Spaniards who were forced into exile after the end of the Civil War.

The exhibition route gathers original historical documents, period photographs, personal correspondence, and artistic testimonies created in the diaspora. Through this material, the exhibition analyzes the main host destinations in Europe and America, as well as the intellectual legacy that the exiles kept alive abroad during the dictatorship.

Being located in the Plaza del Triunfo, it is a perfect option to complement a visit to the historic center of Seville. Admission is completely free without the need for prior reservation.
