Visita al Monasterio de la Encarnación y Repostería Tradicional

The Monasterio de la Encarnación, belonging to the Mercedarian Order and founded in the 17th century, stands out for its beautiful Mannerist-style cloister and a church of great ornamental richness. In addition to its sacred heritage, the convent is highly known for the excellent artisanal pastries made by its nuns.

Inside, valuable religious carvings, mural paintings, and pieces of liturgical silverware are preserved, which can be viewed through a guided tour offered by the convent itself. At the end, it is tradition to purchase the traditional artisan sweets made in the convent.

Admission has a symbolic price of approximately 3€, intended for the maintenance of the heritage. It is a very enriching visit with a great traditional flavor.
