Traditional Living Nativity Scene of the Hermandad de las Mercedes
One of the most beloved historical and religious recreations in the region is the Living Nativity Scene of the Hermandad de las Mercedes, which transforms the natural environment of the park into a life-size Judean village. Dozens of neighbors in character bring the different passages of the birth to life.
The route allows you to contemplate daily scenes such as the carpentry, the loom, the vegetable market, and the main manger with the Holy Family. In addition, stalls are installed offering traditional sweets and hot broth prepared in an artisan way.
The performance is located in the Parque de la Huerta during the days of December 19 and 20, 2026, in continuous hours from 12:00h to 20:00h. Entry is free access and has itineraries adapted for strollers and people with reduced mobility.
