Great Mairena Christmas Lighting Ceremony

Mairena del Aljarafe officially welcomes the holidays with the Great Christmas Lighting Ceremony, the milestone that inaugurates the celebrations throughout the municipality. This massive event gathers thousands of residents in a festive atmosphere with live performances, children's activities, and technological surprises that mark the start of the winter season.

The program includes a spectacular 150-drone show over the night sky, the musical parade "Luz e Ilusión", live flamenco zambomba, and the first of the traditional artificial snowfalls. The venue also hosts a family Christmas photo booth and entertainment with DJ Matute to liven up the day before the peak moment of the lighting.

The event takes place at the Plaza de la Casa Grande with free admission and open access to all performances. The start of family activities is scheduled for 17:30h, so it is advised to arrive by public transport or early to park near the town center.
