Christmas Choral Concert of the Ateneo de Mairena

Polyphonic music celebrates the holidays at the Christmas Choral Concert of the Ateneo, one of the cultural activities with the deepest roots among the local association network. The institution's polyphonic choir offers an exquisite repertoire that combines classic sacred pieces with popular carols from around the world.

Under the direction of prestigious local masters, the voices interpret harmonies by Handel, Haydn, and pieces from the Spanish Renaissance, concluding with popular Andalusian Christmas songs performed with multiple voices without instrumental accompaniment.

The recital takes place at the headquarters of the Ateneo de Mairena del Aljarafe on December 17, 2026 at 19:00h. Entry is free until capacity is reached, so it is recommended to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.
