Mairena del Aljarafe Popular Christmas Race
Sports and festive spirit mix in the Carrera Popular Navideña de Mairena del Aljarafe, a non-competitive athletic test where fun and themed costumes are the general trend. Hundreds of runners travel through the main avenues of the municipality dressed in Santa Claus hats and Christmas costumes.
The test includes an accessible 5-kilometer urban distance for adults, as well as children's races adapted according to age group. After crossing the finish line, participants enjoy a Christmas refreshment with polvorones, fruit, and chocolate, along with a raffle for Christmas baskets.
The start takes place at the Pabellón Deportivo Marina Alabáu on December 27th, 2026, at 10:30h. The cost of registration is 3€ and includes a commemorative t-shirt and race bib, with spots managed through the Municipal Sports Institute.
