Visit to the Parroquia de la Oliva and ascent to La Giraldilla

The Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Oliva is the great monumental temple of Lebrija, built in the 13th century during the time of Alfonso X El Sabio. Its characteristic 18th-century bell tower is known as La Giraldilla due to its evident resemblance to the famous Giralda in Seville.

The interior of the building houses a majestic main altarpiece carved by the Baroque artist Alonso Cano, as well as religious imagery of incalculable value and the Parish Treasury. The guided ascent to the bell tower offers a privileged panoramic view of the entire municipality and the fields of the Bajo Guadalquivir.

The tourist tour is available from Tuesday to Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM for a price of 3€ per person. Access is via the main entrance at Plaza Rector Merina.
