Conventual Sweet Route at the Inmaculada Concepción

The Convento de la Purísima Concepción de Utrera, inhabited by the cloistered nuns of the Discalced Carmelite order since the 16th century, is one of the quietest spaces of Utrera's heritage. Its church, a delight of Andalusian Baroque, opens to the public with free admission to the church.

In addition to admiring the conventual architecture through the artisanal revolving door, visitors can purchase traditional handmade pastries such as bizcochadas, perrunillas, yemas, and marapanes from a century-old recipe.

It is advised to arrive in the morning from 10:00h to 13:00h to ensure the availability of freshly made pastry assortment.
