Recorrido y Vistas en el Castillo de Utrera

The Castillo de Utrera is the most imposing medieval fortress in the La Campiña region. Built on a natural hill at the end of the 13th century by the Council of Seville to defend the border with the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada, the building stands out for its superb defensive wall and the imposing Keep Tower.

The tour allows you to walk through the parade ground, walk along the walls' battlements, and ascend to the top area of the tower, from where you can see a complete panoramic view of the historic center of Utrera and the olive fields that surround the city. Recently consolidated, it is one of the most iconic spots for a cultural walk.

The site has free and open access. It is advisable to go late in the afternoon during autumn days to enjoy the sunset light over the medieval stone walls.
