Exhibitions and Baroque architecture at the Centro Cultural Casa Surga

The Centro Cultural Casa Surga is an old 18th-century Baroque house-palace rescued from ruins through an innovative architectural intervention that combines the original facades and bays with contemporary design load-bearing structures. Today it constitutes the main contemporary art and photography exhibition space in Utrera.

In its exhibition hall, the visitor can enjoy temporary painting and photography exhibitions by local and national artists, as well as contemplate the impressive carved stone portal and the restored covered courtyard. The building continuously houses collections on the city's graphic history.

Entry to the exhibition hall is Free admission, opening its doors from 11:00h to 13:00h and from 18:00h to 21:00h (from Tuesday to Sunday). It is located on the central Calle María Auxiliadora, very close to the main commercial areas.
