Visit to the Palacio de los Cepeda
The Palacio de los Cepeda is one of the most elegant and best-preserved manor houses in the rich stately streetscape of Osuna. Built in the 18th century, this civil building stands out for its sober and balanced stone façade, presided over by a magnificent noble coat of arms that crowns the main doorway.
Upon crossing the threshold, the visitor enters a traditional porticoed central courtyard of clear Andalusian design, articulated by columns that support the upper galleries. This space faithfully reflects the architectural typology of the local nobility during the Enlightenment era.
The palace, located on one of the town's most historically rooted streets, allows one to contemplate the mastery of the stonemasons and artisans who carved the Ursaonense civil heritage. Although it currently houses offices or private uses according to municipal regulations, its exterior architecture and its entrance hall are undeniable references of the palatial itinerary.
Ideal to combine with a walking route through the old town, it is recommended to explore it quietly during daylight hours to appreciate all the details of its stonework.
