Visit to the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Victoria

The Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Consolación de Osuna has its origin in the old 16th-century Franciscan monastery, later integrated with spaces of the adjoining Palace of the Dukes of Arcos. Located in the Plaza Arcipreste Govantes, it is the center of devotion for the Patron Saint of the town.

Inside, with its three naves separated by sober pillars, a Baroque main altarpiece with Solomonic columns shines in the presbytery, a work contracted in 1702 by the master Pedro García de Acuña. In the central niche, the processional statue of Nuestra Señora de Consolación, patron saint of the town of Urso, is kept.

The church can be visited with free admission. The temple is open to the public from Monday to Sunday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (except Thursdays), as well as on Sunday mornings during liturgical hours.
