Historical-architectural visit to Hacienda Porzuna and its mill

The Hacienda Porzuna is one of the best-preserved examples of the industrial and manor olive-growing heritage of the Aljarafe region. Its historical origins date back to Roman and Muslim times, standing out for its traditional Andalusian architecture with a stable courtyard, buttress tower, and winery.

The interior of the estate houses the old restored oil mill, where you can see the traditional system of pressing and producing virgin olive oil. Currently, the building houses the headquarters of the Municipal Environment Agency and environmental training classrooms.

The exterior grounds and their heritage elements can be admired with Free entry. It is integrated into the peri-urban park of the same name, being an essential cultural landmark for understanding the agricultural past of Mairena.
