Historical route along the Arco de La Prusiana

A heritage walk through the vestiges of the traditional agricultural architecture that dominated the Aljarafe over past centuries. The monumental remnant of this former olive oil complex is one of the most unique and recognizable historical symbols of the municipality.

Next to the Arco de La Prusiana structure, visitors will see the access arches and the preserved remains of the rural Baroque architecture of the old oil estate. The itinerary through the urban environment allows one to understand the evolution of the old agricultural town into the Mairena of the 21st century.

Access to this architectural element on the public road is Free and open access. It is advisable to combine this visit with a walk to the nearby Iglesia de San Ildefonso to complete the route through the historic center.
