Botanical and historical route through the Parque de La Alquería del Pilar

The Parque Municipal La Alquería del Pilar constitutes the great green lung of the Nazarene urban center and a magnificent testimony to the stately architecture of the early 20th century. Its more than ten hectares combine historical gardens with dense woodland that provides pleasant shade, much appreciated during summer days.

During the walk, you will discover corners of great landscape value, highlighting the historic Palacio de Alpériz and a varied collection of ornamental botanical species. In addition, the grounds have large children's play areas and rest spaces perfect for enjoying a cool break outdoors in the heart of the city.

The park opens its doors freely and for free every day of the month during daylight hours. It is the favorite meeting point for walking at sunset when the sun begins to descend and the light breeze runs through the paths.
