Winter Horse Racing at the Gran Hipódromo

The Gran Hipódromo de Andalucía Javier Piñar Hafner becomes one of the great epicenters of national horse racing during the weekends in February. This sports and leisure venue brings together top-level riders and jockeys in a professional SELAE circuit of great relevance within the Spanish equestrian calendar.

During the day, you will be able to witness an official program consisting of five exciting thoroughbred races on grass and sand tracks. The venue has large stands, catering areas, an open-air terrace, and a children's area with activities designed for the enjoyment of the little ones while the races take place.

The days usually start at 12:00h and have free admission until capacity is reached, as well as the parking. It is an ideal plan to spend the morning with family or friends enjoying the speed and the equestrian spectacle in the open air.
