Hiking and cycling route along the Vía Verde de los Alcores

The Vía Verde de Los Alcores recovers the old railway line popularly known as the "Tren de los Panaderos" (Baker's Train), which linked the region with Seville for decades. In its journey through the El Viso del Alcor area, this natural path borders the plateau cornice, crossing agricultural areas of olive groves, cereals, and small clusters of stone pine forests.

The itinerary is fully conditioned with a crushed stone surface, which facilitates walking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Throughout the route, visitors can observe historical railway infrastructure, old watering holes, and traditional farmhouses set in the countryside landscape of Los Alcores.

Access to the route is free of charge. It is recommended to travel the path early in the morning to avoid sun exposure during the central hours of the day, remembering to bring enough water and sun protection as it is an outdoor trail.
