Visit and Traditional Tapas at the Mercado de Abastos

The centenary Mercado Municipal de Abastos de Alcalá de Guadaíra represents the gastronomic and daily heart of the city. Located right in the urban center, this traditional market preserves stalls of local fresh produce, from fruits from the Guadaíra orchards to fish and meats from the province.

The visit allows you to walk through its aisles full of morning life and make a stop at its interior gastronomic bars and exterior terraces. It is the perfect place to taste the famous toast with oil and tomato on Alcalá bread, as well as traditional tapas of stews, cold cuts, and Iberian products paired with local wines.

The market opens its doors in morning hours from 08:00h to 15:00h, from Monday to Saturday. Free admission to the building allows you to enjoy the atmosphere and consume freely at the hospitality stalls.
