Visita cultural e histórica al Castillo de Alcalá de Guadaíra

The imposing Castillo de Alcalá de Guadaíra is the most significant medieval fortification of Almohad origin in the Guadaíra Valley. Access is free of charge, allowing you to walk through its extensive walled enclosure, the moat, the parade grounds, and the hermitage sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Águila which presides over the summit of the hill.

During the tour, the visitor can contemplate the imposing towers of the Traición and the Vela, walk along the restored walls, and enjoy the best panoramic views over the Guadaíra River and the Sevillian plains. Sunny November mornings are perfect for walking along its stone sections without the crowds or the heat of summer.

Access is via Avenida del Águila. It has a free parking area near the sanctuary door.
