Visit to the Interpretation Center of Women in Flamenco

The Centro de Interpretación de la Mujer en el Flamenco is located in the emblematic Casa del Aire, a stately mansion in the historic center of Arahal. This museum space is a pioneer in highlighting the key role of female figures in the history of 'arte jondo', in a municipality closely linked to great flamenco dynasties such as that of the famous cantaora Pastora Pavón, La Niña de los Peines.

The exhibition tour is structured into interactive rooms where the artists' contributions are reviewed through specific areas dedicated to cantaoras, tocaoras, and bailaoras. The exhibition displays period costumes, personal objects, explanatory panels, and audiovisual resources, complemented by a rooftop terrace overlooking the municipality.

The visit has Free admission and the center is usually open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. To organize group visits or confirm afternoon hours, it is advisable to contact the Oficina de Turismo de Arahal or manage the recommended prior reservation by email.
