Heritage route along the Molino del Algarrobo and the riverbank

The protected area of the Monumento Natural Riberas del Guadaíra preserves a valuable catalog of medieval industrial and hydraulic architecture. Among all the flour mills preserved along the riverbed, the Molino del Algarrobo stands out for its excellent state of preservation and its landscape integration into the gallery forest.

Visitors can take a pedestrian route equipped along the riverbank, discovering weirs, sluice gates, and the stone arches of the ancient flour mills. The environment shaded by poplars and willows offers a cool refuge from the high summer temperatures.

Access to the natural environment is free of charge and permanent. It is recommended to wear sports footwear suitable for dirt paths and insect repellent for walking by the water.
