Pinar de Oromana and Traditional Picnic Areas
The Parque Natural de Oromana is the city's historic green lung, designed at the beginning of the 20th century for scenic enjoyment, taking advantage of the undulations of the Alcores. Its extensive Aleppo pine masses house low-difficulty trails ideal for disconnecting in nature.
The park has traditional picnic areas and shaded zones where it is common to walk peacefully or practice outdoor sports, taking advantage of the thermal relief brought by the end of summer on the Alcores ridge.
It is located very close to the riverbed and the municipal auditorium, being easily accessible on foot from the urban area. It is recommended to wear comfortable footwear and respect the environmental conservation rules of the pine forest.
