Monumental Natural Park Riberas del Guadaíra

Declared a Natural Monument, the Parque Natural Riberas del Guadaíra constitutes the great green and fluvial lung of the town, flanking the river's course at the foot of the imposing medieval castle. This landscape space combines the botanical richness of the riverside forest with the historical footprint of ancient centenary flour mills, irrigation ditches, and traditional bridges that evoke the pre-industrial past of the area.

During the journey along its shaded paths, visitors can discover unique hydraulic constructions such as the Molino de Benarrosa or the Molino de San Juan, in addition to enjoying varied native fauna and picnic areas integrated into nature. The path runs accessibly, allowing for relaxed walks next to the water channel and offering privileged views of the hillsides populated with Mediterranean vegetation.

It is an ideal plan to enjoy with family or as a couple, with it being recommended to visit first thing in the morning or at sunset during the summer months. It is advised to wear comfortable footwear for walking on dirt and water paths or some liquid to hydrate during the journey.
