Illustrated visit to the Nuevas Poblaciones Interpretation Center

Located in the setting of the municipal estate La Suerte, the Centro de Interpretación de las Nuevas Poblaciones in Cañada Rosal recalls the colonization project undertaken in 1769 by the Crown of Charles III and the intendant Pablo de Olavide to repopulate barren lands with Central European families.

Its facilities have more than 300 square meters of exhibition halls that delve into the content of the Fuero de Población de 1767, the origin of the German and French surnames in the municipality, and the agricultural tools of the time, surrounded by green areas and the Ermita de la Virgen Milagrosa.
