Tour of the Monasterio de San Isidoro del Campo

The Enclave Monumental de San Isidoro del Campo, founded in 1301 by Alonso Pérez de Guzmán (Guzmán el Bueno), is a medieval treasure that combines Mudéjar, Gothic, and Baroque architecture. This site has free admission for all visitors. Its historical trajectory is linked to the Cistercian order and the Hieronymite hermits.

The complex stands out for its peculiar double-church structure, the Gothic frescoes, and the main altarpiece by Martínez Montañés. In addition, you can visit its medieval cloisters and garden patios that preserve an atmosphere of enormous tranquility. The monument is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00.

It is an ideal visit to combine with Itálica on the same day as it is in the same municipality. Its enclosed space allows for a relaxed cultural tour about 25 minutes from Dos Hermanas.
