Visita al Museo de la Ciudad en el Palacio del Marqués de las Torres

Located in the stately Palacio de las Briones, an 18th-century Baroque building, this municipal museum offers a complete journey through the long history of the town from the Paleolithic to the contemporary era. Its rooms display funerary trousseaus, ceramics, and sculptures of incalculable value.

The space is especially notable for its excellent archaeological collection from local sites, featuring such unique pieces as reproductions and remains of Roman mosaics and testimonies of the Carthaginian and Turdetani presence. The visit allows one to understand the strategic weight that Carmona has historically had in the Guadalquivir valley.

It is located in the heart of the historic center, very close to the Plaza de San Fernando, making it easy to combine the visit with a walk through the most traditional streets of the town. The entrance fee is very affordable and the pace of the visit is leisurely, ideal for enjoying the explanatory signage in detail.
