Paseo y descanso en el Parque Oromana

Designed in the first half of the 20th century as a large romantic-style landscape garden, this forest and urban park is the favorite leisure space for the people of Alcalá. Its layout takes advantage of the wooded slopes that descend towards the river, integrating native vegetation with tree-lined paths, fountains, and corners of great aesthetic beauty.

During the walk, visitors pass under a dense cover of pines, eucalyptus, and riverside species, finding unique architectural elements, picnic areas, and small viewpoints towards the riverbed along the way. It is a place conceived for rest, outdoor reading, or moderate sports in the middle of urban nature.

The park is open permanently with free and open access every day of the year. It is a highly pleasant plan to enjoy a sunny winter morning breathing fresh air without leaving the urban center.
