Andalusian Lyrism in Music in the Courtyard
The municipal autumn cycle starts its sessions for the second fortnight with the show Lirismo andaluz, an evening dedicated to the influence of Andalusia's great composers and literary geniuses on chamber music. Performed by the dancer Susana Casas and the pianist Tommaso Cogato, this recital explores the connections between traditional Andalusian melodies and the work of universal creators like Joaquín Turina, Manuel de Falla, and Federico García Lorca.
During the performance in the Patio de la Harinera del Guadaíra, attendees will enjoy an elegant fusion between the classical piano and flamenco and scenic expression. The selected pieces cover Andalusian folklore reworked from a cultured and dramatic perspective, offering a close and intimate open-air concert in one of the most unique heritage sites in the municipality.
The session is held on September 16, 2026 at 20:30h. Access is free with invitation, which must be picked up in advance at the Casa de la Cultura until capacity is exhausted (maximum of two invitations per person). It is recommended to arrive early to ensure a good seat in the venue.
