Family day at the Parque de las Marismas

The Parque de las Marismas is the main green lung and recreational space of Los Palacios y Villafranca, covering an area of 90,000 square meters next to the historic Caño de la Vera. This park stands out for its careful environmental integration between the Campiña and the marshland area, hosting almost fifty different botanical species.

Inside, the park has large grass meadows, tree-lined walks, and the Giant Tomato children's area, a unique zone of themed games featuring a large tomato inspired by the star product of the local gastronomy. It also has pedestrian paths and rest areas.

The venue has free admission and remains open throughout the week with open hours throughout the day. It is an ideal place for families with young children looking for outdoor recreational areas, and it is advisable to visit during hours of lower solar radiation to enjoy the shade of its trees.
